What does the future hold for hydrogen in tomorrow’s marine industry?
In this webcast, Romain Motteau and Mathieu Fountaine, our two Fountaine Pajot Managing Directors , present the Samana 59 Smart Electric REXH2, the world’s first production cruising catamaran equipped with hydrogen technology and designed jointly with our partners. This prototype is being developed as part of the Fountaine Pajot Odysséa 2024 plan to become carbon neutral. How far have we got with this project?
This podcast will feature a number of speakers, all experts in their fields, who will give you a detailed presentation of the hydrogen technology proposed by Fountaine Pajot and EODev, as well as all the issues surrounding the use of hydrogen in tomorrow’s boating industry.

Over a year ago now, Fountaine Pajot launched its first hybrid ICE/electric cruising catamaran, the Aura 51 Smart Electric, a programme we are continuing to roll out across the entire range. In this podcast, we look at the day-to-day running of this pioneering technology, the benefits it brings in terms of self-sufficiency and freedom, and the central role it plays in Fountaine Pajot’s quest to go carbon-free.
