The Isla 40 and the Astrea 42, two models, one gateway to cruising catamarans.

As entry-level models from the Fountaine Pajot Sailing Catamarans brand, the Isla 40 and Astrea 42 are iconic catamarans on the cruising boat market. Whether you’re buying for the first time, planning an adventure, cruising the Mediterranean or sailing around the world, these catamarans have nothing to envy from bigger boats. Find out more about both these models in this new Nautic Broadcast co-hosted by Stéven Guedeu, the Fountaine Pajot Group Sales Director and Maël Jouan, Area Manager for France & Europe.

Two captivating owner testimonials

In this webcast, you’ll discover accounts by two owner couples, the first, owners of an Astrea 42, and the other of an Isla 40. Through their reports, they share with us their experience on board, the reasons behind their choices and their advice on how to select the right catamaran. Escape through their stories, from the islands of the Caribbean as far as Alaska, between the Atlantic and the Pacific. Proof that Fountaine Pajot catamarans have been criss-crossing all the seas of the world for many decades, much to the delight of their owners… Thanks to Mike & Cindy, the American owners of a new Isla 40, who we caught up with at the Annapolis boat show, and to Luke & Vivian, Belgian owners of an Astrea 42, who were only too happy to answer our questions from Mexico.

This boat is the ideal model for cruising with family or friends, thanks to her generous living areas. The Astrea 42 offers a more spacious interior configuration with four double cabins, still offering the option of comfortably accommodating up to eight people.
