The Fountaine Pajot FP48 has been nominated for the British Yachting Awards 2026 in the “Multihull of the Year” category. This nomination marks an exciting recognition for the new sailing catamaran, which is currently continuing her World Premiere tour at major international boat shows.

Organized by the British magazines Sailing Today and Yachts & Yachting, the British Yachting Awards celebrate the boats, innovations, and personalities that make an impact on the sailing world each year.

FP48: a cruising catamaran redefining life on board
A worthy successor to the Tanna 47, the FP48 represents the next generation of Fountaine Pajot sailing catamarans. With a hull length of nearly 15 meters, she combines generous living spaces, layouts designed for long-distance cruising, and technologies that enhance autonomy at sea.
Her design emphasizes a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces, particularly through a 3-meter-wide sliding door that opens the salon onto the aft cockpit. The central galley, forward cockpit, and Lounge Deck offer a variety of spaces to share moments together and make the most of life at sea.
Available in several configurations to suit different cruising plans, the FP48 brings together comfort, sailing pleasure, and autonomy, with up to 2,300 W of solar panels and optional ODSea+ hybrid-electric propulsion technology.
Together, these design choices make the FP48 a catamaran created to embrace life at sea without compromising on comfort, freedom, or the pleasure of sailing.
