In May 2022, Fountaine Pajot organized its 10th edition of its Owner’s Rendez-Vous. This event gathers at each new edition the lucky owners of sailing catamarans (or motor yachts), during few days, for a huge program of idyllic anchorages, sailing, exchanges and emotions! For this 2022 edition, Fountaine Pajot has successfully attracted no less than 22 owners of sailing catamarans, from 38 to 50 feet, to sail for 4 days on the paradisiacal seas of Croatia. Starting from the beautiful medieval city of Trogir, the Fountaine Pajot fleet cruised for several days around the islands of Šolta and Brač, before heading back to the continent for a final step in the port city of Split, an antique city from the Roman era, rich in history.

In this short interview realized on the occasion of the Nautic of Paris, which took place last December, we had the chance to receive two Fountaine Pajot dealers: Philippe MERCERON (Cat&Go) and Lionel GENSOLLEN (Midi Nautisme), to share with us their feedback on this trip in Croatia, of which they were privileged to be a part of, along with owners who came from all over the world for the event.

Sailing on the Mediterranean sea: would Croatia be the perfect choice?

Croatia offers an idyllic playground for all sea lovers and afficionados of the dry and warm Mediterranean summer climate. With its many islands (more than 600 islands, islets and reefs), Croatia has the largest archipelago in the Mediterranean, most of which is uninhabited, and forms a national park largely protected from human activity. The possibilities of navigation are wide within its countless islands, and if you have to make a stop in the region, Croatia will almost always offer you a spot of wilderness just for you, in a isolated cove sheltered from the winds, between crystal blue waters and rocky cliffs.

Croatia also has a strong history, marked by various cultural contributions: Celtic, Greek, Roman, Byzantine, Slavic… The coastal cities of TrogirSplit or Dubrovnik are a perfect example; a historical past that is waiting to be discovered during a stay. You will also be able to enjoy first class olive oil, characteristic of the Mediterranean countries…

For all these reasons, Fountaine Pajot has decided to organize its 10th Owner’s Rendez-Vous here, in order to make all its owners from all over the world discover (or rediscover) the maritime strengths of Croatia.
