The countdown has begun… there’s just a few hours left to go before the Fountaine Pajot fleet gathers for the start of this long-awaited event for the owners and their crews. Some of the catamarans have already covered many miles to reach the meeting point in Trogir, a famous medieval village on the Croatian coast. A wonderful opportunity for everyone to enjoy sailing around the Mediterranean with family and friends, before catching up with all the other crews in Croatia.
In total, 22 Fountaine Pajot sailing catamarans arriving from all points of the compass will set out from Trogir on Sunday 22 May, bound for the island of Šolta to compete in the first of two legs of the Rally organised for the occasion. This is an international event with owners from Australia, the UK, Africa, the USA, Germany, Croatia, Malta, Puerto Rico and France.
Once on the island, the crews will be able to enjoy the charm of the small port of Maslinica and share some great times during the gala evening being held at the Martinis Marchi Hotel.
Next, a course will be set for Stračinska Bay and the island of Brač, for the second leg of the rally, which is organised by Yachts Croatia Magazine. On the agenda, swimming, paddle boarding, meals at anchor and of course sailing as a flotilla, before mooring up in the port of Milna on the island of Brač. The 100 crew will have the opportunity to tour the island and enjoy tasting some local Croatian products.
The event will draw to a close on Tuesday 24th May in Split, a historic port town of renowned heritage, where the Fountaine Pajot Owners will be able to enjoy an exclusive tour of the city.
