Owners event
Event date
From 22 May 2025 to 25 May 2025
First of all, thanks again to all the owners for creating all those moments of camaraderie, laughter and sharing good times. A huge thank you to everyone who took part and to our partners who made this event such a great success!
For the 11th edition of the Fountaine Pajot Owners’ Rendezvous, we set sail for the turquoise waters of the Tuscan Archipelago in Italy, a place well known to boaters, with the beautiful island of Elba as a backdrop – and sometimes even Corsica on a clear day. Over the course the three-day event, no fewer than 120 people aboard 23 catamarans explored some of the region’s most beautiful spots. With iconic landscapes, culinary specialities, some great sailing and charming stopovers, this event once again brought the big Fountaine Pajot family together in an idyllic and festive setting.
Crews from all over the world, including Italy, France, Switzerland, the United States and Australia, celebrated their passion for cruising together aboard the brand’s iconic models: Isla 40, Astréa 42, Elba 45, Hélia 44, Saona 47, Tanna 47, Samana 59, and Aura 51… It was an unforgettable event, marking the dawn of the 50th anniversary of the Fountaine Pajot shipyard.
23 catamarans in Tuscany for 3 days, what was that like?

The crews were warmly welcomed at the Yacht Club at the Marina di Punta Ala for the launch of this 11th edition of the event. After check-in and the now-traditional presentation of arrival gifts, the owners gathered at the end of the day to enjoy sharing some good times and a taste of what Italy has to offer.
What better way to get to know each other than over cocktails and a buffet dinner featuring Tuscan flavours? All this with a view of the ocean and the island of Elba, bathed in the rays of the setting sun, and our destination for the following day. A wonderful way to start this three-day shared adventure…
Early in the morning, after breakfasting aboard the catamarans, all lined up on a pontoon reserved for the occasion at the entrance to the port, we set sail for Elba and the charming village of Porto Azzurro. A beautiful 15-mile sail awaited us, under a brilliant sun and with winds of 15 to 20 knots on the beam. In short, ideal conditions! The first crews were to reach the island in less than three hours, then anchored in the bay of Cala di Mola, before heading to the village of Porto Azzurro, just opposite, for those who wished to do so.
After a bit of relaxation for some and a short stopover for others, we headed back to our home port for the night, Marina di Punta Ala. Here, one of the main evening events of the trip took place, on the heights overlooking the port, at the prestigious Hotel Cala del Porto. On the programme: local gin tasting, aperitifs and refined dinner, with breathtaking views of the Tuscan landscape bathed in the light of the setting sun, as everyone enjoyed the calm and conviviality that rounded off a rich and intense day.
Thanks to the windy conditions, there was to be no sailing on the third morning – every good sailor knows to respect the whims of Mother Nature! The day therefore began with a sailing workshop led by Samy Villeneuve from Incidence Sails, and a Garmin workshop led by Thomas Doret, focusing on on-board electronic equipment. These technical discussions were greatly appreciated by the owners, who were able to approach their future sailing projects with greater peace of mind. The day continued with lunch at the Yacht Club, followed by the traditional group photo of all the crews, marking the end of the 11th edition.
The highlight of this final day came in the afternoon when we headed to the resort of L’Andana, a famous winery in the region. A tour of the property and gardens, followed by a tasting of the estate’s products, allowed the crews to savour all the richness of the Tuscan terroir, including olive oils, local wines and some lovely focaccia.
The day ended with the Awards Ceremony, followed by fine dining, music and dancing with a DJ. This was a wonderful way to continue the exchanges and celebrate together this beautiful edition of the Fountaine Pajot Owners’ Rendezvous.
Before heading off their separate ways, the crews gathered one last time at the Punta Ala marina for a quiet Italian breakfast, an opportunity to exchange photos and look back on the highlights of the previous few days. Some of those who’d taken part chose to extend their Tuscan cruising independently, while others made their way home, all leaving with memories to last a lifetime. These four days were an opportunity to meet new people and, without doubt, forge new friendships on the water.
