For one week, Nikoline and Adam took us aboard their FP51 in the heart of the U.S. Virgin Islands. Seven episodes follow their daily life at sea, their sails, their stopovers, and the decisions that shape a day on board.
A simple and authentic immersion into the experience of life on a catamaran: choosing a course in the morning, adjusting plans along the way, discovering an unexpected bay, or enjoying a sunset at anchor.
Here are the seven chapters of this adventure.
Episode 2 — Heading to Saint John
Aboard their FP51, Nikoline and Adam leave Saint James Bay and set a course north toward Saint John. The sails are raised, the boat picks up speed, and the rhythm of sailing settles in. The day can begin.
Upon arriving at Caneel Bay, an unexpected turn forces them to adjust their plans. A new heading. A new bay. A new atmosphere. It’s often in moments like these that the best decisions are made.
Episode 3 — Between land and sea
A day that begins with a hike on the heights of Saint John and ends out at sea. In just a few hours, Nikoline and Adam move from the trails to the deck of their FP51. Nothing is fixed. The course is decided at the moment of departure. The anchorage is chosen on instinct. Sometimes, just a few meters are enough to change the perspective.
Episode 4 — A shift in rhythm
Aboard their FP51, the day starts early. Before 7 AM, the deck turns into an open-air workout space. Total isolation. Just the two of them, the boat, and the rising light. Then everything unfolds. An impromptu stop at Waterlemon Cay to explore the reefs. A jump into the water. And a few hours later, a completely different atmosphere in Coral Bay. In this episode, there is no fixed schedule. There is an energy to follow.
Episode 5 — Chasing the wind
Wake-up at Saltpond Bay. A quick swim to start the day, then a course set toward the south of Saint John aboard their FP51. Today, the wind sets the pace for Nikoline and Adam. Plans evolve with the conditions, and every decision opens up a new possibility. Between sailing, stopovers, and the light of the late afternoon, this episode reveals another side of their week at sea.
Episode 6 — The perfect balance
The day begins with yoga at sunrise, followed by a few hours of work aboard the FP51. The rhythm settles in. Then it’s time to cast off and head toward a new bay. Plans evolve along the way. One stop replaces another. The day unfolds between swimming, golden light, and relaxation on the flybridge. In this episode, we see how active life and freedom at sea naturally find their balance.
