Nice Boating Tomorrow 2026: Fountaine Pajot showcases the FP41 ODSea+

From March 19 to 22, 2026, Fountaine Pajot Sailing Catamarans will be present at Nice Boating Tomorrow, in the heart of the Port of Nice.
A pioneer in sustainable cruising, Fountaine Pajot has been actively reducing the environmental footprint of its catamarans for several years. The ODSea+ solution, developed by the shipyard, combines hybrid electric propulsion, renewable energy production and intelligent onboard energy management to optimize autonomy and limit emissions.
In Nice, the FP41 ODSea+ embodies this commitment: a 41-foot sailing catamaran designed to go farther, with demanding performance under sail and advanced energy control.
ODSea+: a concrete approach to low-carbon cruising
With ODSea+, Fountaine Pajot is advancing cruising toward cleaner, quieter and more autonomous navigation.
This hybrid electric solution combines alternative propulsion, high-capacity batteries, renewable energy production and centralized onboard energy management. The objective is clear: increase autonomy, reduce emissions and preserve acoustic comfort, both under way and at anchor.
Hydrogeneration under sail, integrated solar panels, optimized storage and intelligent energy flow management: ODSea+ redefines the balance between sailing performance and energy control.
Designed for long-distance passages as well as family cruising, this energy architecture is part of a long-term commitment to sustainably reducing the environmental footprint of Fountaine Pajot catamarans.
Understanding ODSea+ at Nice Boating Tomorrow
A moment to understand, to question and to imagine the cruising of tomorrow.
To explore this technology in depth, two roundtable discussions will be held in the show’s conference area:
- Friday, March 20, 2026 | 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm
- Saturday, March 21, 2026 | 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm
The Fountaine Pajot teams, alongside key players involved in the energy transition within the boating industry, will share their experience and answer questions from the audience.
On the agenda:
- Electric propulsion solutions
- Renewable energy production under way
- Battery management and onboard autonomy
- Concrete feedback from catamaran use
- Environmental and CSR challenges related to the nautical energy transition
These discussions will also provide an opportunity to address the shipyard’s broader commitment, notably alongside the WWF and through actions aimed at protecting Posidonia seagrass meadows in the Mediterranean.
