The team set sail from La Rochelle, the historic home of the Fountaine Pajot shipyard on France’s west coast, to test the New 41 in real-life conditions, with Emmanuel Van Deth, editor-in-chief of Multihulls World magazine.
This new-generation catamaran immediately won over the crew with her stability, manoeuvrability and excellent behaviour at sea. Every detail has been designed to offer optimal comfort on board, without any compromises to performance.
The deck layout has been ergonomically designed for ease of movement around on board. The perfectly positioned helm station offers an unobstructed view of the horizon. Located at mid-height, it offers a privileged perspective of the water and the sails, while maintaining a natural connection with the crew, whether from the cockpit or the spacious sun lounger.
Sail handling is made easier by thanks to the well-integrated and easily accessible deck hardware, ideal for sailing short-handed.
If, like many sailors, you’ve been seduced by the New 41 from Fountaine Pajot, you can help set her on a course to success! Visit the Multihulls World website before 20th April to vote and support this iconic model. Together, let’s make the New 41 the Multihull of the Year 2025!
