Photo Challenge 2019

For this second edition, even more Fountaine Pajot Owners shared their sailing and cruising experiences on Fountaine Pajot catamarans, in magnificent and varied photos.

We received more than 500 photos and videos from around the world. From Portugal to the Baltic Sea, from the Great Barrier Reef of coral in Australia via Asia, the Caribbean and the Mediterranean, we were transported by the diversity of landscapes and photos which enlivened this new photo challenge.

Given the high quality and the number of photos published, we decided to award seven participants, according to themes which illustrate various aspects of cruising, from life aboard a Fountaine Pajot as well as current environmental concerns.

A big thank you to all who took part for showing us their worlds and sharing their experiences with everyone under #share_your_emotions_2019 and on Fountaine Pajot Yacht Club.

Sailing is mostly about sharing moments onboard with family & friends… Each Fountaine Pajot Owner sees their boat as their favorite place to relax alone or together, and thinks of it as their own haven of peace. Aboard their Fountaine Pajot Saba 50, the “Millennium Falcon” crew from Portugal, demonstrate this perfectlywith an endearing photo reportage on what life on board offers daily: epic trips, relaxing moments in incredible settings, and above all…sharing.

Once again Lady Roslyn’s crew have shown us their creative skills with many, many incredible pictures aboard their Fountaine Pajot Saba 50. With at least 78 photos, they took us on an epic journey across the Mediterranean Sea and Islands, punctuated with sailing moments, funny moorings and environmental pictures…

With this Prize, we wanted to reward their creativity of course, but also their commitment to preserve nature & the sea’s wildlife during their cruises.

Right in the middle of the BIV, the American crew, aboard their Fountaine Pajot Saba 50, highlighted the beauty of mother nature with stunning photos of anchorages and wildlife . Swimming with those majestic creatures is definitely one of those memorable cruising moments you will always remember…

🏆 Congratulations to the American family on the Saba ‘‘G2’’ for this Award!

With this Prize, we wanted to reward something really important in terms of boat design for Fountaine Pajot: harmony. Harmony of color, shades & shape, that perfectly enhance the Saona 47 lines. We were captivated by the shots of those shades of blue, taken in the amazing Whitsunday Islands and Coral Barrier Reef in Australia…

The spear diving couple of the Fountaine Pajot Helia 44 “Kailani” have taken our breath away in the deep waters of the BVI. Swimming with a shoal of fish and especially sharks, is any sailor’s dream…
