On February 18 and 19, 2026, Fountaine Pajot held the first edition of Charter Days 2026 in La Rochelle.

This exclusive event brought together charter professionals and committed industry stakeholders who came to deepen their technical knowledge and discover the behind-the-scenes manufacturing of Fountaine Pajot catamarans and Dufour Yachts sailing boats.

Designed as a dedicated meeting point for charter companies, this new format aimed to create a privileged space for dialogue while enabling new charter operators to gain a clearer understanding of the organization, expertise, and models of both brands.

An immersion at the heart of the shipyards

Over the course of these two days, participants explored the different stages of construction through in-depth tours of the production facilities of both brands, Fountaine Pajot and Dufour Yachts.

These immersive visits provided a clear understanding of the technical choices, quality standards and industrial organization that shape the construction of models destined for charter fleets worldwide.

Technical workshops were also held with partners specialized in onboard electronics, energy management, deck hardware and onboard comfort, including Garmin, B&G, Scheiber, Harken and Frigomar. Discussions focused on equipment, current innovations and their operational impact for fleet operators.

Private visits finally offered the opportunity to appreciate the design and innovations of the latest models in real-life conditions, providing a tangible insight into the excellence of the Fountaine Pajot and Dufour ranges.

A dedicated event for charter professionals

This first edition reflects a clear ambition: to strengthen ties with charter companies and create a direct space for dialogue beyond the traditional setting of boat shows.

Discussions focused on market developments, evolving customer expectations and medium- to long-term growth perspectives. For some charter operators, it was an opportunity to reinforce an existing partnership. For others, it was a chance to discover Fountaine Pajot and Dufour Yachts from a more industrial and operational perspective.

By opening their production sites and encouraging direct exchanges with their teams, Fountaine Pajot and Dufour Yachts shared a comprehensive view of their organization and their commitment to charter professionals.

Charter Days 2026 mark an important milestone in Fountaine Pajot and Dufour Yachts’ commitment to supporting their charter company partners over the long term and highlighting their industrial expertise.

Discussions around boat structures, construction methods and new onboard technologies confirmed a shared interest in ever more efficient and innovative sailing.

This first edition would not have been possible without the involvement of the teams, partners and professionals in attendance. It paves the way for this event to continue in the years ahead.
